Fidget camp is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free environment for all participants, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, appearance, age, or beliefs. This code of conduct ensures that everyone feels safe and respected.
Here are our expectations for Fidget Camp participants, which we will enforce throughout the event:
Engage in respectful speech and actions, and avoid any form of demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and language. This includes interactions related to projects and activities too. Harassment can include, but is not limited to: intimidation, stalking, unwanted photography or recording, intentional disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. If you experience or witness harassment, please report it to a Fidget Camp organizer in person, by text, or email team@fidgetcamp.com
Respect each person's unique approach to exploring activities. There is no "right way" to do something at Fidget Camp, and we celebrate diverse methods and creativity in all forms.
Always seek clear permission before handling or interacting with someone else's materials or projects. If you wish to record video or take photos and are unsure if it's okay, just ask! Respect their wishes if they decline.
If you observe a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or any violations of this code of conduct, inform a Fidget Camp organizer, regardless of how minor it may seem.
Should any attendee engage in harassing behavior, Fidget Camp reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include issuing a warning or asking the offender to leave the program.
Please note that while we aim to provide a safe and respectful environment within the spaces and workshops organized by Fidget Camp participants, we cannot take responsibility for interactions that occur outside of our official events. We encourage all participants to uphold these standards of respect and consideration at all times, whether inside or outside of Fidget Camp activities.
